Dr. Stephen T. Xiong rose up from the ranks of our own congregation. Shortly after marrying his wife, he began serving the church as an elder when he was only 20 years old. He served the congregation in all aspects of God's work through his encouragement and support of the church and the offering of God's Word-whether or not the church had a pastor.

Dr. Xiong serves the church of his own graciousness and therefore spares the church the burden of having to financially support his family. As a result, he holds a fulltime job outside of church while still performing the duties of a fulltime pastor for the church in the mode of the Apostle Paul who worked as a tent maker while spreading the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

By providing his ideas, supportive demeanor, and financial support, Dr. Xiong wholeheartedly encourages congregation members to come together to do God's work. He encourages everyone to do God's work through our love of God instead of always seeking a reward before doing anything; for the greatest reward is yet to come from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

His passion and desire for the church is that everyone love one another and support each other in performing God's work. He also desires for the congregation to come together to establish a true place of worship despite the high cost of living in Lompoc. He often says, "When we still don't have homes, it is alright if we don't have a church; however, everyone now has a good home. As a result, it is time for us to establish a place of worship."
